1. What is an image consultant?
Someone who specialize in visual impact. An image consultant helps someone to best present yourself to the world, and how it makes you feel. Our image is what we project to others.

    • Credible

4.You say that many women, especially professional women, wake up every morning, look in their closest—many of them jammed packed with clothes—and swear they have nothing to wear. Why is this true for so many women?
Most people only wear only 20% of their clothes, and they can’t understand why they always end up wearing the same four things, and those four things fit that image they have of themselves.

Once I work with a client to identify their style. They can make more conscious clothing purchases no more impulse buying.

5. Why does working with an image consultant help make these morning situations go away?

  1. An image consultant will provide personal style coaching on color, style, body analysis and help organize the closet so one can go shopping in your own closet.
  2. It is important to find your own style for example:
    1. Classic, Dramatic, Natural, Romantic
    2. What is your body type? Hourglass, Triangle, Rectangle, Oval?
  3. When determining the best styles for anyone, we have to take into consideration all elements of their physical make-up like: body shape, face shape, shoulder width.
  4. Only buy if you love the way you feel and look in the outfit. Is it the style you like, color and material? If it is a trend consider the price.

6. You can help people lose ten pounds in ten seconds. I like the idea plenty. How do you make this miracle happen?

Dressing smart; Most of us would love to lose ten pounds at any given time for that special event, but life happens and it doesn’t happen. You can look nice by dressing for your particular body type. Think Camouflage!

Camouflage techniques:

  • Vertical style lines
  • Horizontal style lines
  • Skinny bits: Head, chest, elbow to wrist, knee to ankle, waist
  • Women tend to hide those body parts that are really the slimmest parts of everyone.
  • Dark recedes and Light advances
  • Shaping the shape of the face: Round; use collars that are more angular
  • Angular; use collars that are more round

7. Some women hate to shop. The unflattering dressing room, the over-abundance of choices. No clear style direction. Can they learn to at least like shopping?

Once women understand their style, body type, appropriate color, and what kind of material they like. Shopping becomes easy. There’re not to be afraid to try on something.

8. Are there some simple guidelines to follow?

Go for simplicity. I like the 3 accessory Rule. Women don’t realize what qualifies as an accessory: Glasses, eyes, hair color, make-up, each piece of jewelry. You don’t want to get lost amongst your accessory and you don’t want to be plain Jane.

9. Makeup, especially here the super natural look Northwest, is an issue. I think that many women are a little overwhelmed or just not comfortable using much makeup: Can you offer a few make up tips?

  1. A little goes a long way.
  2. Everyone can use lipstick.
  3. A lot of women would look so more rested with some concealer.
  4. A little blush makes you look healthy
  5. A little mascara emphasizes the eyes shape
  6. The easiest way for a facelift is to wax your eye brows. Get them done from a professional.

10. Color is another fashion sticking point for many women. Every season fashion designers and clothing retailers try to sell us on particular colors. And women get confused about how to integrate these fashion colors into their wardrobes. What is your advice?

The important thing is to remember you can wear any color. The important part is the color around the face. Does the color make you feel and look good or does you face become invisible?
